What I appreciated the most was their quick service, ideal for people like me who are always on the go. The ambiance is lovely, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing coffee or a quick meal. The place offers a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cafe has a relaxed atmosphere, and it's a great place to relax and people-watch.
The vibe is relaxed Exarchia — a little grungy, a lot welcoming. It’s a bit more upscale than your average cafe, but that also means better tables and more personal space. I’ve spent many an afternoon here pretending to read a book while really just people-watching. Walk in and you’re transported back fifty years — elderly men playing tavli (backgammon), thick Greek coffee served in tiny cups, faded photos on the walls. Great for groups, great for an afternoon coffee that slowly turns into evening drinks.
Long time Jittery Joe’s delivery person and local artist Vernon Thornsberry in front of our previous roasting facility off Barber Street. With large windows allowing natural light to flood the space, it’s an ideal spot for enjoying a leisurely afternoon. The service was very slow, had to remind my order several times, the taste was not that good. Finding a seat was a bit difficult. The slightly worn, vintage feel of the passage makes the whole experience even more special and cozy.
